I’m so in love with you and so happy I found you. You’re everything to me. Everything I do is done with you and our future in mind. I appreciate how ambitious you are and how ambitious you push me to be. I respect your work ethic and the way you balance your life in so many different ways. I never thought I’d be in love with someone who is far and away my best friend on Earth.

You make me want to experience living deliberately and I could not love you more.

We’re on track to experience life together and I couldn’t be more thankful and optimistic. Thank you so much for being patient with me during this process of figuring myself out. I’ll be the man you deserve. I swear. I want to be the man of your dreams, and get married, and raise children and get old together.

This was one of the many loving conversations Kevin and I had together. Before Kevin, I didn’t know a relationship could consist of these conversations. This was a fearless profession of sincere and unconditional love. Lord knows I will never understand life’s timing, but this particular conversation happened just a week before his passing.

He never let a moment go by without making me feel loved.

Just this week I had to get a new phone and somehow a year old voicemail popped up. It was from Kevin, telling me he loves me. Even in Heaven, nothing will stop this boy from sending me love.

Still on this journey, but its moments and memories like these that inspire me to keep going.
